Day 14 – Final Day in Europe
Time to go back home. Lazy morning in London, then down the stairs into Paddington station to take the Heathrow Express to the Airport and head home! Bye Europe. Until next time.

Day 13 – Au Revoir Paris! Back to London.
This really has to be one of my most favorite cities in the world. I would come back here every year if I could. I need to plan a longer trip to Paris next time. So much to see, so little time!n Au revoir Paris! I will miss you.
Now for a high speed train ride through France, under the English Channel and back to London.

Day 12 – Dinner with Friends and Eiffel Tower Night Show
We were able to meetup with a couple of Emma’s school friends Maya and Ruby and have a lovely dinner. Then we stayed up late to watch the lights sparkle up the Eiffel Tower.

Day 12 – Arc de Triomphe
We finally made it down the Champs-Élysées and made it to the Arc de Triomphe. Oh what a site and the traffic around there was incredible.

Day 12 – Château de Versailles
Elena and I had a father/daughter adventure as we headed for the Palace of Versailles. We had a wonderful time in the palace as well as getting lost in the Jardins du château de Versailles (Gardens of Versailles). Plus, Elena asked for a boat ride and I gladly accepted the challenge of rowing a boat in the Grand Canal in the gardens.

Day 11 – Musée du Louvre
Finally we get to my love, the Musée du Louvre. Please allow me to indulge in it’s greatness. And yes, the Mona Lisa is all that and a bag of chips!

Day 11 – Musée d’Orsay
Our second full day in Paris had us visiting two famous museums. Tricia’s favorite, the Musée d’Orsay was first. My favorite, the Musée du Louvre, came second. Here are some views and amazing artwork from the Musée d’Orsay.

Day 10 – Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris
Our next stop while riding the BatoBus was the unforgettable Cathedral of Notre Dame. Simply Amazing. Besides the beautiful artwork, stained glass windows, statues and craftsmanship of the walls and high ceilings, we arrived shortly before a mass started and we were able to witness the start of the mass first hand. It was phenomenal. Plus I lit a few candles in the prayer room for my family and friends. It was incroyable!

Day 10 – Cruising on the Seine via BatoBus
It was extremely cool to use the BatoBus as our personal Taxi riding up and down the Seine River. BatoBus Paris was a great way for us to get around Paris without having to ride in actual Taxis all the time. On this day, we jumped on at the Eiffel Tower stop and rode it down to see Notre Dame.
